Adversity CREATES a better World . . .

Adversity

is a strand
that mother nature

weaves
into
our lives

along with other strands
of various aspects
to create a
spectacular tapestry ...

reds for excitement and joy,
green for new growth and hope,
blue for calmness and meditation,
purples for higher spiritual self,
yellows for happiness and comfort
blacks for grief, sadness and trials.

But without the blacks and darker shades
there can be no depth and dimension in the pattern.

Being a Christian nun originally from India, I believe in the hand of God leading and guiding us all to our destiny. But we are all pilgrims and we cannot do it alone. We need one another especially in times of adversity.

It is at that time that God shows Himself/Herself to us in the form of friends, relatives, neighbours and people of good will, irrespective of Creed, Caste, Colour or beliefs. We need one another and we need to empower one another especially women where cultures and countries have shackled them.

Together we can make this a better world for all.
